Cross platform programming environment packed with options

Programming environments that claim to have it all are everywhere but most programmers complain that they fail to live up the hype.

SlickEdit is a cross-platform attempt to break this trend as a multi-language code editor that allows programmers to create, navigate, modify, build, and debug code faster and more accurately. There are several features unique to SlickEdit that will make of it interest to programmers.

Context Tagging is one of them which allows you to drill down from a symbol to its definition, or quickly find all references without searching - a huge time saver for most under pressure programmers. Another is Completion on Space. This option allows you to press the spacebar when List Members is displayed and will insert the appropriate code without you having to type it which is another huge time saver.

There are many other more standard features of SlickEdit too including syntax highlighting, code templates and creating custom typing shortcuts with aliases that will help you finish your coding quicker.

Whether it's a major or minor project, SlickEdit packs in a huge number of time saving features combined with quick response times to make it a cross-platform editor worth reckoning with.

    go to hell.
it's SLOW, it hangs for 2-3 seconds very often (during typing, during Alt-Tab, during opening files). Pros: x
    Cons: x
